Searching
Basic search functionality is used throughout the MotionCX web portal. To use this functionality, enter the name of the item you are searching for and click the magnifying glass button. More detail is provided throughout this guide when additional searching capabilities are available.
Sorting
Sorting is available in many areas of the application to help organize large sets of data. In data sets where sorting is available, you will see an up and down arrow next to a columns' name. Click a column name once to sort ascending, click the column name again to sort descending. As a note, sorting can only be applied to a single column at a time.
Pagination
In many areas of the application, multiple pages of information will be available. Use the pagination controls shown in these areas to navigate through additional pages and to adjust the number of results displayed per page.
Required Fields
If a field is required prior to saving, the field will be indicated with an asterisk (*). The Save button will be disabled until all required fields are populated.
Refreshing Page Data
The most recent page data is always loaded when navigating to a page, but in some areas, data can be added or updated by other users while you are viewing the same or related data. In those areas, a page refresh button is provided. If needed, click on the Refresh button to load the most recent data for the page you are viewing.
