Viewing Cases

Viewing and working cases within the MotionCX platform is made easy with the use of a tabbed view panel. One or more case tabs can be opened at a time allowing you work and navigate through multiple cases at a time.

Case Tabs

View An Existing Case

To view an existing case, navigate to the Cases > All Cases page and locate the case by Searching for the case. From the case list, simply click on the case you wish to open. The case will open in a new case tab.

Navigating Case Tabs

Within the Cases > All Cases page, a new case tab will open when manually selecting a case to view, or automatically when new cases are created from your incoming interactions. Case tabs will include the unique case number and an icon representing the interaction type of the case. The tab of the current case being viewed will always be highlighted. Clicking on a different case tab will open its corresponding case. The Tickets tab will always take you back to the search/filter page.

Closing Case Tabs

Case tabs remain open when navigating to other pages within the web portal, and even after logging out and back in to the MotionCX web portal. To close a case tab you must click the X on the case tab. The Tickets tab always remains open and can not be closed.
